An especially warm summer lies ahead for much of Canada in 2020.
For its annual summer forecast for Canada, AccuWeather meteorologists are predicting a warmer-than-average summer for western areas of the country along with expected below-normal rainfall. The combination could make for a dangerous wildfire season in B.C. and parts of Alberta while other areas are likely to be impacted by drought.
Eastern Canada is expected to see far wetter weather as higher-than-average rainfall could lead to local flooding concerns and other hazards.
