Farm machinery manufacturer Agco has expanded its Certified Pre-Owned equipment risk management plan to cover eligible RoGator and TerraGator applicators.
The Agco CPO program will now be available on TerraGator high-floatation applicators and RoGator row-crop applicators under four years of age and with less than 1,800 hours, following inspection completed by an AGCO-certified technician.
Machines covered by Agco’s CPO plan are put through “rigorous” reconditioning and, when needed, parts are repaired or replaced so the machine is in field-ready condition, the company said in a recent release.
CPO-certified machines are also backed with a one-year protection plan which can be extended to up to 36 months, Agco said.
With TerraGator and RoGator applicators now in the CPO program, Agco said, the company now has “the broadest offering of equipment available as CPO in the industry, including tractors, combines, large square balers and self-propelled windrowers” and is the only company to offer CPO hay equipment.
The Agco Protection plan offered on CPO machinery is an insurance policy for engine and powertrain components, the company said, “to protect against unexpected repair costs and to help maintain the machine’s resale value.”
Agco noted it’s made Basic AGCO Protection extended service coverage (ESC) available for 24 and 36 months on CPO equipment with up to 3,000 engine hours. –– AGCanada.com NetworkTagged Agco, machinery, Rogator
