Väderstad Tempo L 18 planter

Väderstad recently added an new model to its Tempo L series. The Tempo L 18 – joining previous two Tempo L models, the Tempo L 12 and Tempo L 16 – has 18 row units and is available with 20” row spacing.

“Tempo L 18 delivers exceptional planting precision and very high capacity when planting crops requiring a narrower row spacing, such as canola and sugar beet”, says Mattias Hovnert, Sales & Marketing Director at Väderstad AB in Sweden.

“To be able to plant a wide range of crops on the farm, Tempo L 18 can be rebuilt from 18 to 12 row units. In the 12-row configuration, the row spacing can be set between 27.5” – 31.5” (700-800 mm), thus also allowing for crops such as corn, and sunflower. The result is increased efficiency and minimized machine costs per hectare”, said Hovnert.

The new Tempo L 18 was revealed at Agritechnica and is slated for production in June 2018.
