National Organic Grain and Feedstuffs: July 4

USDA – Compared to two weeks ago, trade activity and demand good on feed grade corn and soybeans.
Feed grade corn and soybeans traded 4 cents lower. Feed grade wheat trade activity and demand moderate with the bulk of trade activity on Soft Red Winter Wheat.
Trade activity and demand good on Soybean Meal; moderate on Soybean Oil. Trade on all other organic grains inactive.
According to the NASS National Crop Progress report for week ending July 1, 2018, crop progress percentages were:
- Corn silking 17 per cent
- Soybeans blooming 27 per cent
- Sorghum headed 22 per cent
- Winter wheat harvested 51 per cent
- Spring wheat headed 58 per cent
- Barley headed 50 per cent
- Oats headed 82 per cent
