Kinze Manufacturing recently released its 4700 planter, a newly designed 20-inch model for narrow row spacing. Some key features include:

– Blue Vantage™ display, Blue Drive™ electric drive and True Depth™ active hydraulic down force
– three-section frame with 15 degrees of tool bar flex up and down for superior ground contact
– 120-bushel bulk seed fill capacity with hydraulic weight transfer (standard)
– 600-gallon liquid fertilizer capacity (optional)

“The 4700 brings technological innovations and enhancements to the narrow row market,” Susanne Veatch, Kinze president, said. “Dealers and customers have been asking for a new narrow machine, and we are extremely excited to be able to share the 4700 with them. It brings the reliability and durability farmers are accustomed to from Kinze, with Kinze-designed planter technologies that make planting simple and accurate.”

Kinze says it will have the 4700 planter available in a 36-row 20-inch configuration for the 2020 planting season, with plans to introduce 24-row 20-inch and 24-row 30-inch configurations in the future.

The new 4700 planter was introduced at the 2019 National Farm Machinery Show last month in Louisville, Ky.
