KUHN recently announced a new pair of single-rotor, mounted rotary rakes to its equipment line: the GA 4201 and 4401.
Special attention has been made to machine weight and ergonomics by updating the pivoting headstock, enhancing the rotor gearbox, and simplifying windrow curtain adjustment.
The updated pivoting headstock allows for a turning angle of 48 degrees to maneuver in tight field corners. Machine shifting and swinging has also been reduced, protecting crop stubble and improving performance for turning and working on slopes.
Double-curved tine arms have been designed to form fluffy and consistent windrows. The tine arm design allows for quicker dispensing of the forage and improves windrow clearance, allowing for more air movement through the crop to promote fast and uniform drying.
A simplified windrow curtain adjustment sliding tube also creates quick and easy adjustments to the windrow width. A crank accessible from the tractor cab allows for easy adjustments to the rake height, even when the weight of the rake is supported by the rotor wheels.
