Canadian Financial Close: Loonie lower on Thursday

WINNIPEG, Sept. 3 (MarketsFarm) – The Canadian dollar was lower at Thursday’s close.
The dollar finished the day at US$0.7620 or US$1=C$1.3123, compared to Wednesday when it closed at US$0.7653 or US$1=C$1.3067.
The TSX Composite Index lost 249.07 points to close at 16,448.90.
Benchmark crude oil prices were weaker. West Texas Intermediate (WTI) was down 18 cents to close at US$41.33. Brent Crude was down 43 cents at US$44.00.
