Canadian Financial Close: Loonie slightly higher, crude oil mixed

The loonie closed at US$0.7435 or US$1=C$1.3450, compared to US$0.7431 or US$1=C$1.3458 on Friday. The United States Dollar Index was up 0.01 of a point at 104.12.
Crude oil prices were mixed on Monday. Brent crude oil declined US$0.13 at US$82.06 per barrel. West Texas Intermediate (WTI) added US$0.17 at US$77.01/barrel.
The TSX/S&P Composite Index was up 57.70 points at 21,067.30.
Gold was down US$4.50 at US$2,034.20 per ounce.
