Global grain supply questionable, and with it, prices

According to grain markets expert Bruce Burnett of Glacier MarketsFarm, the outlook for grains in the near future isn’t good.

Burnett offered up his assessment of grain markets after his latest crop tour during a presentation at Ag in Motion in July where he covered topics such as the impact of drought on the prairies, the uncertainty of wheat prices due to the Russian invasion of Ukraine, and more.

Here, reporter Ed White of The Western Producer talks with Burnett after his presentation and hears two commodities in particular that are likely to take center stage in the 2023 marketing season due to tight supplies.
