PGRs, cereal crop staging and seeding rates

Plant growth regulators are becoming more common for cereal crop growers to help avoid problems such as lodging. In this video from the 2022 Crop Diagnostic School, Anne Kirk with Manitoba Agriculture talks about the ideal timing to apply a PGR, shows how to cut into a wheat stem to determine its growth stage, and some initial research findings on optimum seeding rates for wheat.
