Environment Canada – Colder-than-normal temperatures are forecast across the Canadian Prairies through April, according to the latest long range seasonal forecast from Environment Canada, released Jan. 31.

The government agency is calling for below-normal temperatures across all the agricultural areas of the three Prairie provinces, with colder temperatures also in the forecast for most of the rest of the country aside from southern Ontario.

Precipitation is expected to be normal across Alberta, Saskatchewan and Manitoba.
