The show must go on(line)
The “Living Labs” segment that was expected to be on display at Canada’s Outdoor Farm Show this month at Woodstock, Ont. will still be a highlight of the show as it moves online, organizers say.

Rebranded for 2020 as Canada’s Digital Farm Show, the Glacier FarmMedia event will still feature Living Labs, billed as “a partnership with many researchers, farmers and industries across Canada to produce tools and techniques to help local environments.”
Presentations online during the show will include representatives from the Ontario Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs (OMAFRA), Ontario Soil and Crop Improvement Association (OSCIA) and University of Guelph, discussing “many topics on their research and what can be done to help the environment.”
Tours of crop plots at the Woodstock site will also continue in the virtual format, organizers said, giving farmers “the advice they need for their next growing season,” with company reps available for chat on the digital platform.
